update 2/21/14 .. saw a good 'snow slide' at a friends house .. best one ever
this hanger was at least 3-4 feet long
and about 20' wide ... fantastic!

This is my garage roof this morning at about 7:30 .... The snow is hanging down about 2 feet and is about 3" thick ....
